Go Naturals!

Our first Naturals' game of 2016!
It was great to get back to
one of our favorite ballparks!
Since Arvest Ballpark's inaugural season in 2008,
DJ has grown-up with the Naturals!

He's seen players & coaches come and go.
Some players, however, return with new stories.
Like Orlando Calixte.
He was just awarded a World Series ring!

Did Orlando have to use the ring as collateral?
He had to borrow a glove for tonight's game
(he's been a career infielder & needed a larger
outfielder's glove for his new position).
(He asked Brandy to hold his glove
while he signed some baseballs.
She noticed it was branded
"Bubba Starling")

There's more to Arvest Ballpark
than just baseball...
60+ home games this year
means that more than 60 dogs
will find great homes!
(Sometimes the dogs get adopted
even before they are introduced
on the field in the 5th inning)
After catching a third out during the game,
(with Bubba's glove)
Orlando tossed the baseball to DJ!
Plenty of fun between innings!
Doing the chicken dance!
DJ also appeared on the new, HD big screen!
After the game, fireworks
started the new season with a bang!
They're intense, too.
Fireworks at Arvest Ballpark
are the best in baseball
-Major Leagues included.
The glittery-gold streaming fireworks
were new, loud, & awesome!
Go Naturals!
(and future Royals)

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
