Hard week...

Tonight playing after dinner
Thanks Lance and Lisa, Davis loves his bouncing Zebra!

This is us on New Years Day

This week has been more difficult for me than I ever imagined it would be. I never thought I'd have a hard time, especially knowing that Marc will be back soon.. I mean just over a month and he'll be home. It has been an adjustment that I was not anticipating. Every night I wake up in our bed and I think... where's Marc? Then to remind myself that he's not here. It's so strange that I've done that all week long, waking up expecting him to be there by my side. I've gone back even to sleeping just on my side of the bed instead of all over it, like I was before. I also forgot that I had to get a shower in at night because if I don't, I won't have one the next day. I really enjoy taking shower's in the morning and guess that I could if I set my alarm and got up before 7am when Davis does. I can't wait until my husband is home for good. It was easy to get used to again!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
