It's been a while since I last updated! We had such a great 15 days with Daddy! I didn't want to waste any time on the computer that I could spend with him! It was a fantastic visit, and Daddy is back over there... but will be home in about a Month and a few days, FOR GOOD! We can't wait! Life with him here is complete!
Davis and I went to Papa and Nana's this afternoon and ended up staying for dinner... I took the camera, and dusted it off! I didn't take enough pics while Daddy was here, but we got a few! Here are some pics of Davis this afternoon! Hope you all are well! Daddy, we hope you make it back to B-town safely!
Davis is doing a lot these days! I haven't had his 1 year check up, it's going to be his 13 month check up actually. Davis is saying... BOO, WOW (all the time) and GO, and we think he's saying DAVIS, when we play peekaboo! He will actually cover his eyes and say "DAADIS" It's so cute! He's not yet walking, but i'm not so concerned as I was reading in one of my baby books that good crawlers are slow walkers and he's been crawling since he was 7 months old! He walks around everything and loves for you to walk him, with him holding your fingers. He's so proud of himself when he gets to do that, and I can't wait to see what he's like when he starts walking on his own! He can also give you HIGH FIVES and is clapping when we say YEAH! Finally he's doing a double handed wave for bye bye. He now has 6 teeth, you can see his other big tooth finally popped thru! He eats almost everything.. no more baby food. He loves the sweets and desserts! He's drinking from a straw. The past 2 days Davis hasn't had a bottle at all. He is now drinking regular milk too and hasn't had any problems with it.
Davis is really good at throwing the balls... and also rolling them back and forth to you. He loves to do that with his cars as well. He mainly uses his left hand to throw and to eat. So we're keeing our fingers crossed that he'll be a lefty!
He's really so much fun these days and is literally into everything! I love my guys so much! I still look at Davis and can't believe he's ours and how lucky we are to have such a healthy, strong, and brilliant little man! He amazes me everyday!
