Davis is walking!

Of course this was a week ago and now he's walking and talking all over the place! It's so cute... but recently I have taken a vow to never ever eat out again with this child. He's a walking monster... it's all he wants to do. He doesn't want to sit in his highchair ever! I know I'll be takin him out again, but it hasn't been fun. So we'll be doing more take out from here on out. I hope soon he'll understand he just can't get up and run around where he likes. It's frustrating me... I hope we get past this stage soon.
He also hasn't been sleeping well and probably because he doesn't want to eat his dinner anymore... since he's only wanting to walk. So the past 3 nights he's been waking up 3 times or so a night, the first night I fell for it, but not lately... he's only been crying for about 10 minutes at a time and goes back to sleep. Oooh he's up now crying and it's 10pm. I'll give him 10 minutes then I'll go get him and see if he wants some milk. I'm hoping this sleeping pattern didn't come about from his shots... we had to get them last Thursday and it wasn't fun, by the end of the 6th shot, and they did it in his arm, I was crying too! Davis got stickers, but what did mommy get? :( I hurt too!
Enjoy the walking video! Less than a week now and we'll have Daddy back with us! Woo hoo!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
