Monday night...

Davis is finally getting over his cold... or maybe it's a milk allergy? We stopped giving him milk and it has cleared up. Who knows? I bought some lactose free milk and have been giving him that but maybe only two cups a day. So I don't really know what I'm doing, but just trying anything. He's not congested and he's not coughing at all like he was last week.

We went to the Pizza Parlor with Papa and Nana tonight. Davis ate good for a change... and he loves it when we sit in a booth, because he can play his favorite game with the people next to us. There wasn't anyone next to us tonight, and he was still playing it. It was very cute! BOO!

This weekend we didn't do much, Davis stayed with Papa and Nana Friday night, since I had to go to Driving School on Saturday morning. They said he actually slept thru the night there so there's promise to him sleeping well other places! Sunday we watched the first part of the Super Bowl had a great dinner and left at half time for Davis to get to bed on time!

Davis started taking baby steps last week and I've caught some on video but it's hard to do when it's just us.. he also started walking with just me holding onto one hand. He loves to do that and I don't mind this at all compared to the two hand walk... Today he was Mr. Independant. He wanted to get up on the couch and get down from the couch, all by himself. He didn't much want to sit on the couch, but just climb up and down it. We had fun with it and had a great day today!

Davis starts going 4 days a week now to MDO. I went ahead and enrolled him because they had a spot open, hopefully we will get to stay there when I find a job. Yes I am going to go back to work.

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
