Black Olives

Sometimes bringing a 2 year old to a restaurant can be challenging. But it helps when the restaurant has good food that kids will enjoy. A safe menu item that Davis is almost sure to enjoy is spaghetti. But you never know when he might encounter a diced black olive. So, we started a conditioning drill to emphasize that the black olive is not to be feared. It can be fun, entertaining, and provides a different texture and taste sensation when diced-up and mixed with plain old spaghetti.

fun stuff

black olives are my friends

counting them is easy

still not sure about eating them

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!
