Daddy is back home now after his 3+ week 'business trip'. He went to Oahu, the main island of Hawaii. He was stationed there for 3 years when he was on active duty more than 15 years ago. He says that he worked a lot, and somehow managed to play full rounds of golf at no less than 6 different golf courses!
Daddy started playing golf only a few months ago.
He said that he had a lot of frustrating shots, but all of his clubs made it back intact.
He said the conditions and up-keep of the courses were perfect
(he picked an ideal time to go, he missed-out on the scorching heatwave here!)
Daddy says his mechanics are way-off, but did manage to hit a shot within 4 feet of the hole on a par 3, then putted it in for a birdie.
While Daddy was in Hawaii, Davis asked him to find more monster trucks and different characters from the Cars movie.
Davis is going to be surprised when he comes home from school today!
