We just knew that Davis would win this contest.
After all, he's got lots of Eric Hosmer stuff,
(when he was part of the Royals' farm team in Springdale)
and, DJ is a little bit cute.
The signed KC Royals Hosmer bobblehead would be awesome to have next to his NWA Naturals bobblehead of Hosmer that we got earlier this year (the one he's holding in the photo).
We didn't win.
Maybe it's a good thing.
It was (wrongly) assumed that the signed bobbleheads would be mailed to the winner (or at least have the option to pay for shipping). Au contraire mon frere. The winner could only claim the bobblehead with a ticket to that day's game. So, we almost put ourselves in a real pickle if we won. Just how badly do we want a signed bobblehead? Gas money to KC and back. Price of a game ticket. Then, we just can't buy one ticket and not watch the game...
It's a good thing we didn't win.
