No School Day Fun

it's maybe the single instance when 'no' & 'fun' can go together?
It's been such a long time since we've been able to be outside (for more than 20 mins) in the middle of the afternoon!
And, most importantly,
No school today!!!
(he has to go back tomorrow, though)
but, at least we had awesome weather!
(the high today stayed under 80 degrees!)
but, taking a lot of photos is not much fun
-getting to go shopping as a reward
for good photos is a great deal, though
so, DJ manages a big hug for the camera
 a nice reserved smile
seriously, he's had enough already
thankfully, he has a little left
ready. to. go.
 one more
Smiles are all gone.

We had fun sharing our photos!
The busy season for blog posting has arrived!
Cooler weather has to be the key element for outside photography. A few weeks ago, we couldn't open the car door and pause for too long on the asphalt for fear of our shoes melting or spontaneous combustion. Now, we can take a small detour on the way home, pull over, and spend 15 minutes taking a few fun photos!
(the spot we found is on a 'no outlet' road [not PC anymore to say 'dead end'] just south of the new soccer fields on Chaffee Crossing)

-End of Post-

Kidding!

we've got a few more to share!
Not kidding.
 -might try a few more
 not there yet
 feel one building...
nice smile, DJ!
it took a lot out of him
much better, thank you!
Hay!

now we're having some fun!
(DJ says the hay bales are much bigger
than they appear from the car)
the biggest smile ever!
channeling the power of the hay...
a No School Day smile!
thanks for enjoying a few photos with us!
 we'll post again soon!
(even if it's a school day!)

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
