Go Team!

Even if the Naturals aren't playing,
we're still ready to catch a game!

San Antonio Missions
vs
Arkansas Travelers
at Dickey-Stephens Ballpark
in North Little Rock!
The Missions are the AA team
of the San Diego Padres.
This year's MLB All Star Game
is being hosted by the Padres at
Petco Park (not too far from LegoLand).
Rooting for the visiting team can
make for a different ballpark experience!
Cheaper/better seats, too!

Team Corndog:
Taking a break after eating half.
(not really)
DS Ballpark features a food stand
where they 'cook-up' the corndog
right in front of you.
After waiting in a long line
for one corndog, and then watching
the corndogs being made...
It's tempting to round-off your order
to an even dozen corndogs.

At the opposite end of the concourse
is the Bacon Station.
This food stand offers
unimaginable quantities of bacon
with unfathomable 'pairings'.

We're thinking this is a strategic plan-
to fully envelop the concourse
with food fragrances
of ballpark goodness.

The game was close,
with back & forth lead changes.
But, in the end,
it was a win by the Travelers,
& time for fireworks!
Awesome!!!
-different fireworks-
than what we see at Arvest
Happy!
DS Ballpark was a blast!!!
Happy 10th!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
