Back at Oklahoma Aquarium

It's a great place to go
when it's hot outside!
DJ's last visit was
many years ago...
Ready to see what's new!
There was plenty of new stuff
right from the beginning!
Sea creatures everywhere!
The coral reef area
was a favorite
DJ found some personable fish
in the Amazon River area
(he's about twice the size
as he was during his last visit)
The shark tunnel is awesome!
(and the birthday party area)
Good Job, Okie Aquarium!
Every display is very well maintained!
Cowfish!
Need a bigger boat.
Touch-tank friendliness with
a horseshoe crab
Davis probably wasn't too keen
about touching sea creatures
during his last visit
finger shake!
contentedness
(2nd trip through the shark tunnel)
Jellyfish Awesomeness!
For an aspiring marine biologist,
this is a required summertime activity!
A few tanks have kid-size
tunnels that lead to viewing
portals inside the tank.
Octopus!
The Okie Aquarium even has
sleep-overs during the summer.
Not today, DJ.
Not today.
Bull Shark!
Spending quality time
with the jellies.
A tropical setting in Jenks, OK.
It's just a few toll booths away!
More Cowfish!
OK Aquarium is more than Okay!

And, we're already planning
a return visit?
A huge sea turtle exhibit
should be finished by next summer.

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
