Comments have slowed-down, but that doesn't curb Davis' appetite from wanting to check out his blog! We enjoy looking at archived posts, and the Flickr photo album. Simple 'just to say hello' comments are much appreciated! Davis also enjoys looking at other blogs from family and friends. He's developing some degree of patience at the computer, pushing the button to replay a video, and asking for help when something goes wrong.
Davis is obsessed with his blog. He enjoys the pictures, videos, and the comments! We read all of them to him, and now that he has taken a pause from talking on the phone, comments left on the blog are a way that he can keep in touch with people.
We also check the old blog postings for comments -any previous postings in the archives are always open for commenting, and anonymous, unsigned comments are just as welcome to post!
Mommy and Daddy might enjoy posting on the blog as much as Davis likes seeing himself, family and friends. Some posts are more challenging than others, and some are total flops, but it's always nice to read a comment from someone to share the joy of a child, or the experience of blogging. For us, it's a collaborative effort. We have our difference of opinion on certain issues of the blog. Mommy is not sure what to think of the motivational posters. Possibly in response to a perceived lack of acceptance to the posters, Daddy started putting some of them under her name! -gasp- He has 11 more of them ready to post! Mommy thinks a few of them are cute and funny, but is quite unsure or 'contextually dis-intellectuallized' about others -that's my take on Daddy's big, goofy words on some of his posters. If I don't use the word in everyday conversation, then it's something that I would never think about putting on the blog. Daddy's only blog-related contention is that Mommy sometimes takes too few photos. Woe be it that Davis should grow-up not being photographed enough (we average close to a full gigabyte of DJ photos each month). But overall, it's a fun experience for us, and of course, Davis. It's always nice to know others are enjoying it too! hint hint...
