Back to Ben Geren

When the weather called for temperatures in the mid 60's, there was no doubt where we were going to take Davis. Ben Geren Park is only about a 20 minute drive from the house and offers the best variety of slides and plenty of room for the little boy to run around. Even when the park is a little crowded, Davis is usually able to find a slide section not being used and have it all to himself. After a short period of time, he'll go over to the crowded area and do some social sliding.

Fast slides, bumpy slides, super slides and super super slides -BGP has it all!

Daddy has fun taking pictures too. He's getting a lot of practice, and still learning things about the camera.

BGP is close to the airport, so Davis has lots of moments to take a pause and check out airplanes
Davis tried-out the fast blue slide and started climbing on this trip!

The trip was good for Mommy and Daddy too. We had been stressing over Daddy's potential job offer. The decision is yet to be made, but having such caring family and friends makes everything so much easier!

can't wait till the next warm day to get back out on the slides!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
