Balloon Festival

Saturday morning Davis and I ventured out to Poteau, without the GPS, but didn't have too much trouble spotting the Airplane signs on the highway, which led us right to the Poteau Airport. I was looking for Hot Air Balloons in the sky. But once again on our quest to find one to ride in, we missed them. They came out first thing, and then would be back at dusk for the Balloon Glow. We had high hopes of seeing these while we were there.

But Davis was brave enough to ride some rides by himself for the first time ever. I was so proud of him for being such a big boy about it.

I asked the man not to put him in a purple dragon... but Davis didn't seem to mind.

Checking out some of the aircraft near by....

there's an airplane in this pic somewhere...

Always a good day when we see a Helicopter!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!
