Finally Flannel

It's our flannel post from the area
Davis named 'Frozen Christmas Tree Forest'
Davis has stated that every place deserves a name,
and he will take it upon himself to provide one.
Last year, this same spot was known to us
as 'Little Snapping Turtle Pond'
However, after the drought, there's no pond this year.
(Last year, Davis wore a half-dozen different shirts at this spot,
but no flannel- so it has to bring some luck...and rain!)
We're sure the snapping turtle has found a new home.
Maybe with enough winter snow & springtime rain,
 the pond will re-appear.
(This might be one of his wishes, so we can't
say it out loud)

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  ę¬¢ä¹äøå›½ēš„ę˜Žå¤©!
