Davis has an impressive knowledge base of non-Newtonian fluids. It's a fun discussion for the first few minutes, until he starts talking about practical applications of the magneto-whatever-you-said. Then, it turns into a one-way conversation with DJ doing all of the talking. He learned about the stuff (along with shark-inspired anti-microbial substrates) on the PBS show, Nova.
