3 Major Leagues ballparks within an hour's drive
of where we were staying!
It was tricky however, finding a home date
for each team that matched our travel itinerary.
Amazingly, within a span of 4 days, the Brewers,
White Sox, & Cubs had home games scheduled.
It was a nice bonus that Wrigley Field is celebrating its 100th season.
A sold-out Thursday night game for a last place team (Cubs)
against an out-of-division, cellar-dwelling opponent (Padres).
This only happens at Wrigley Field.

The most helpful & passionate ushers can be found at Wrigley.
History is everywhere at Wrigley.
And, (ignoring the original-to-the-period urinal troughs) it's very well-done.
With the Cubs falling just a little behind the Padres,
nothing seemed to dampen the baseball-loving atmosphere!
Our believe-it-or-not Wrigley experience:
Even after playing baseball for a full century,
we saw history made during our visit:
Schlitter (banner, upper right) gave-up a run-scored
to every Padre on the lineup card in the 5th inning.
