The massive retractable-roof stadium is located on the outskirts of downtown Milwaukee
A very picturesque, waterfront city with classic & modern architectural styles.

Davis was an under-cover Reds fan for our visit to Miller Park.
(Navy blue & gold are the Brewers' colors)
We didn't want to get run-off from any of the fantastic tailgating!
These professionals are setting-up tents
& cooking at least 4 hours before
the first pitch of the ballgame.

It simply doesn't get any better.
The smells are terrific!
Brewer Fans are a welcoming,
and thirsty breed!

Miller Park was DJ's favorite ballpark,
of the 3 MLB parks we visited this summer.
Fun stuff for kids!
Miller Park is also the best value (by far) of all the MLB
ballparks we've visited since '12:
Braves, Cardinals, Brewers,White Sox, Cubs.
General Parking costs $9
(compared to $23 for White Sox parking)
It's a relatively short walk to the stadium.
A strategic detour can take you to the best tailgating
in all of professional sports.
Our seats (row 12, behind home plate) cost $19 apiece.
Cubs tickets would have been
at least $150 for the same seat.
The Brewers were in first place during our visit.
The crowd was large, loud, & very thirsty.
It was a fun, electric atmosphere -on a Monday night.
(can only imagine what it's like on a Friday or Saturday
night game against the Cardinals)
The food is very reasonably priced,
with an awe-inspiring variety.
Show-up hungry.
The only issue we had wascarrying transporting
the huge portion sizes back to our seats!
Ushers, vendors, & stadium support personnel
go out of their way to be helpful.
They know their baseball & love their Brewers.
It's fun being around people that enjoy
their jobs & treat you like a long-lost friend.

of the roof opening & closing on the stadium's free WiFi.
For every pitch to every Brewers hitter,
Bernie the mascot is perched on his viewing deck
waiting on a home run.
Big flashing signs & fireworks erupt to go along
with his ride.
Bernie did a lot of standing without ever going
down the slide during our visit:
During Miller Park stadium tours, fans pay $100
to take Bernie Brewer's perilous slide.
The proceeds go to Brewer charities.
It's easier to get photos on the visitor's side during
a well-attended Major League baseball game.

The attendance for our game was over 31,000.
Over 1.6 million fans have attended games at Miller Park
up to this point of the season.
The Brewers were in first place (ahead of the Cardinals)
in the National League's Central Division.
It's #22, Coach Billy Hatcher!
A key player for the 1990 World Series Champions!
He hit .750 for the Reds during a sweep
of the heavily favored Oakland A's
*that's still a record batting average for a four game series*
Coach Hatcher said he really liked Davis' name.
We hear that a lot & didn't think too much about it.
It turns out, Hatcher's teammate
hit a big home run to win Game 1 of the Series.
The teammate, known more for his speed than his bat,
set the tone for the next 3 Cincinnati wins.
His teammate's name?
Eric Davis.
