@ Corona Park

Located in Queens, NY,
Corona Park was home to the 1964 World's Fair.
Say Cheesesteak!
Currently, the park is home to the National
Tennis Center, Queens Museum,
and, perhaps, one of the most photographed
food trucks in the entire world.
Saving Hamiltons!
If there's not a tennis event happening,
traffic around Corona Park is light.
This makes for an ideal Uber pick-up spot.
The ride from the museum to
our terminal at LaGuardia cost $9.
Heavy Lifting!
The Unisphere is a very cool feature of the park.
700,000 pounds of steel surrounded by
a shallow fountain pool
(which was empty during our visit).

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
