Thick grass feels good on his bare feet!
When things get quiet in the house, mommy & daddy know what is coming next: Davis will be running to the front door, looking out the window, and will begin yelling "Outside!" Although it's not all fun and games; there's work to be done. Dry weather means water buckets have to be moved around to keep the river birch trees growing.
The weather has allowed Davis to get outside more often. He runs around and rides in his big Ford truck. He has to sit on the edge of the seat to reach the gas pedal and hangs onto the sides of the truck as it goes around in circles. Sometimes he rolls into a planting bed, but daddy doesn't mind.
The days of bees visiting the cannas are coming to an end for this year. Davis isn't too timid of bugs; unless they're moving! (maybe he senses a 'oneness' with them after his experience as a dragonfly!)
Davis has a Bee Movie post coming soon!
