Happy Thanksgiving!

We got Davis dressed-up this morning for his Thanksgiving pictures. It was a little cold, but Davis was not going to wear his hat- no matter what. The 'look at the airplane' trick worked for only a few seconds. He was really acting like a little turkey. If only he knew what mommy does with turkeys.

Next, it took a few runs with the truck to fully recover from the hat trauma:

Davis was acting like it had been a while since he had been outside. It was only yesterday that he drove his big Ford truck around for hours -until the battery ran-down. He insisted on running, wanting his big truck, wanting his lawn chair -wanting anything- except being still for a photo. But, he was willing to negotiate. During discussions, suckers were offered. Photos were taken. Everything was well. Davis was thankful the hat was put away...

aaaaaaBehold the Sucker

(thankful that Davis was treated to a good supply of suckers on Halloween!)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
